Redact, Bates-stamp, print, and review PDFs — right here in Safari.
Read the matter's PDFs, spreadsheets, and images; flag metadata anomalies; highlight and take notes.
Stamp sequential Bates numbers onto every page and write labeled copies to a new subfolder.
Assemble exhibits into binders with cover sheets and an index, each a standalone PDF.
Every note and highlight in this matter. Edit freely — this is your work-product, not for filing.
Your privilege log — every whole document you marked privileged and every passage you redacted, across this matter. It carries the Florida-required columns (Author, Recipient, Date, Type, Subject Matter, Purpose, Privilege Claimed, Bates); the tool fills in what it knows and leaves the content fields blank for you to complete. Save as PDF to print or email, Copy into Excel, or Download the CSV.
Connect a matter folder to read PDFs, spreadsheets, and images straight off disk. Nothing is uploaded — the files never leave your computer.
Chrome or Edge on the desktop required.
⚠ Automated matching can miss occurrences — poor scans, unusual formats, OCR misreads. On scanned pages, matching is only as good as the OCR text. It marks what it finds; you verify every page before producing. Matches are outlined for review first — nothing is blacked out until you confirm, and nothing is burned in until you run Save redacted copy.
The Anchor ID is a permanent, matter-wide control number assigned to every document — continuing automatically as new documents arrive, never restarting, never re-numbering anything already anchored. It's your master reference for an index or TOC of everything, separate from a Production Volume Bates label you apply when producing to the other side. Recorded in the matter; nothing is stamped onto files unless you choose to.
Prefix and digits lock once the first anchors are assigned, so the sequence stays consistent. Add documents in Discovery Viewer, then Rescan here and Assign to give the new ones the next Anchor IDs.
Nothing in To Produce\ yet. Open Discovery Viewer, drag the documents you're producing onto the To Produce tray, then come back here to stamp them.
Stamped in this order, every page, bottom-right. Originals are never modified — stamped copies are written to Bates Stamped\. Drag to reorder.
Reads the Bates numbers already printed on documents in Received\ and compares them to a range you produced — pure comparison, no network, nothing stamped. Scanned pages are read with on-device OCR (slow, best-effort; needs the Bates stamp to be visible, not cropped or redacted off).
Leave all fields blank for the plain default header. Whatever you enter is drawn as a court-style caption (court flush left, CASE NO. beside “v.”, closing “____/” rule) with the title centered and underlined beneath it, at the top of the Exhibit List / Production Index page, and saved with this matter. The trial format prints the bordered courtroom grid with blank Witness / Identified / Admitted columns to fill in at trial.
Every exhibit gets a cover sheet; pages are normalized to Letter and labeled bottom-right (e.g. A-001) above any existing Bates stamp, which is never touched. Switch on the exhibit sticker to print the rounded adhesive-style label — word and letter — on each exhibit's first page, wherever you place it; EXHIBIT, PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT and DEFENDANT'S EXHIBIT are suggested, a long wording prints on two lines, and the stock can be white or courthouse yellow. The second box adds a line of your own — a case caption or docket number — and fixes where the wording breaks. Word & Excel are converted to pages automatically (text/table layout — for exact fidelity, Print-to-PDF from the app instead). Written to Binders\; sources never modified.
Assembles the checked documents into one continuous production PDF — no exhibit letters — sectioned by the categories you set in Discovery Viewer, with a hyperlinked index. Each section gets a cover sheet you can retitle (the Cover: field beside each category below); turn covers off for one continuous run. Turn on Bates stamping and every page gets a continuous number (the index then shows each document's Bates range, exportable as CSV for a privilege log). Documents in Received\ are never stamped with your numbers. Existing Bates stamps on pages are untouched; pages normalized to Letter; written to Binders\.
